In Transition
In Transition is a 3 minute and 33 second motion graphic piece. The project began as an exploration into unconventional digital and handmade, multidisciplinary approaches to creating motion graphics.
Through a combination of mixed media, digital film, stop-motion techniques, and animation, the work was built up in layers. These different elements were brought together and composed in After Effects, where they merge into a unified visual language.
The process of making the film became more than just the production of a single piece – it also served as a source of inspiration for further artistic work, leading to the creation of additional visual artworks.

We are constantly in transition. In a megacity as London it becomes even more visible. The visual culture is a neverending journey of cultural codes. We are living in a hyper reality. A world made up by images, concepts, signs and sounds – which we learnt to interpret collectively in our global culture of signs. In Transition traverse, and pass through an urban, economic, social and cultural space. Real, hyper real and imagined, are all merged and visible. In ‘In transition’ we leave the Hyper Reality behind and enter another kind of reality. What is reality what is illusion? What is truth what is simulated?
