Collection Rome
A handful of paintings from my time in Rome – where history and mythology blurred into the present, and every street carried an echo.
I was drawn into the city’s layered history and mythology, where every street and building seemed to whisper stories of another age. At the same time, I stepped into the rhythm of a new culture – meeting new friends who became familiar, learning through movement, dancing to electronic music deep into the night.
I walked through Rome’s streets, feeling the sun rest on my skin at the Forum Romanum, sharing moments with friends in Trastevere, and escaping by car to Sabaudia in search of quiet, mysterious places. .
It was a time of intense creativity. My painting became a space for experimentation, shaped by everything I absorbed. During this period, I also had the opportunity to exhibit at Castel Sant’ Angelo and in two other locations – moments that anchored the experience in something lasting.
